This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!

I bring you LEv7
I've talked a lot about finally creating myself a place on the internet, it has been my ambition since I began playing Neopets (yes I did, and I adored it) to have a successful site. Over the years I have started and stopped literally dozens of websites, but I have never reached the point where I cut the metaphorical ribbon. However times may well be changing, I have almost finished development of my freelance portfolio codenamed: LEv7.
What is LEv7?
Simply put it will be a space for me to display the best of my creative work in three galleries: Interactive Design, Print Design and Photography. I will primarily use the site as a base for self promotion and hopefully to get some much needed freelance work.
Can I see it?
Until I have finalised a few details and completed thorough testing I won't be realising any screenshots but I am proud of what I achieved and so will highlight some of the features.
The site has been almost completely coded for jQuery, I haven't gone down the route of animating every page turn, but I am using AJAX to load each module of content. Note the avoidance of the word of page. As has been said many times by many authors the Internet has exceeded it original expectations, in its creation the web was simply a place to store and browse publications but today we use it to do so much more. Therefore pages aren't the future, the future will be the use of AJAX technology to send and receive between the server and the user without refreshing the entire page, thus speeding our browsing experiences. This is what I have achieved with LEv7, every time you clock a link the new content is loaded within the original page, reducing the needless reloading of common elements such as the navigation, header and background.
I'll bring you more news when I'm reading to release the site to the public, but I just wanted to pass on my news to anyone who wants to read it.
